Come bridge with me. Create a poem that uses the word bridge in anyway you choose.
Walking across Brooklyn Bridge,
a lovely stroll on a spring day.
How much more you see
when walking leisurely.
Covered bridges intrigue me,
a feeling of past lives–footsteps
of many who traveled before you.
Imagine a bridge that disappears
after you cross it. They say,
do not burn bridges behind you,
but if it should vanish
on its own, you might find
a world of adventure
ahead of you.
