That may be organic,
but is it sustainable?
Hot new terminology
here in Portland.
Range-free, cage-free,
no GMOs, no antibiotics,
cultured, non-iodized,
fresh from the farm–
no pesticides.

Bon appetit!

About purplepeninportland

I am a freelance poet, born and bred in Brooklyn, New York. I live with my husband, John, and two charming rescue dogs–Marion Miller and Murphy. We spent eight lovely years in Portland, OR, but are in the process of returning to New York. My goal is to create and share poetry with others who write, or simply enjoy reading poetry. I hope to touch a nerve in you, and feel your sparks as well.

Hi Sara, you ‘liked’ my comment on your poem….which really is not necessary. What I would like, and I am sure others would like as well, is a comment on their poem. Thanks. Truly, you would get MANY more visits if you would COMMENT on others…..especially those who have done you the courtesy of commenting on yours. Thanks.
